to tell you a bit more about myself.
I'm Maria, a self taught product designer with experience working in the B2B fintech space based in Berlin.
Formerly a musician and a social worker, I love merging my passion for creativity and human psychology to create research based, empathy-first design solutions.
Also, I am currently exploring the realm of UX writing as another tool for creating a unique user experience.
Bio
I was born in Uzbekistan, grew up in Israel and moved to Berlin 10 years ago.
From a young age I enjoyed changing, exploring different cultures as well as my own abilities.
After working as a social worker in Berlin for a couple of years, I longed to express my creativity in a new way while still working with people - a space that fascinated me no matter which career path I took.
Today I am an experienced product designer and an aspiring UX writer.
Working on design solutions for B2B Buy Now, Pay Later users from research, usability testing, to UI and content design has taught me a great deal about collaboration.
Moreover, it is the exchange of different disciplines within a company that define the importance of product design for me.
I know this is a rather formal introduction, I promise you I am
much more sarcastic in real life.
